Terms of Service

Last updated June 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of bwrx.studio and enrollment in NUCLEUS programs offered by BWRx Studio Inc., a Tennessee nonprofit. By enrolling or using this site, you agree to these terms. Questions? Contact Randy Steele at randy@bwrx.studio.

About BWRx Studio

BWRx Studio Inc. is a Tennessee nonprofit corporation. Our primary program is NUCLEUS — an online, instructor-led nuclear physics curriculum for high school students and adult career changers. Randy Steele is the Founder and Executive Director.

Enrollment

Enrollment in NUCLEUS is confirmed upon receipt of full payment through Stripe. After payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email and a Google Classroom invitation within 24 hours on school days. Enrollment is personal and non-transferable — each seat is for one student.

By enrolling a student under 18, the enrolling parent or guardian represents that they have authority to do so and agrees to these terms on the student's behalf.

Refund policy

Refund requests submitted before the first live class session (Week 1) will be honored in full. After the first live class session, no refunds will be issued. If extenuating circumstances prevent a student from completing the course, contact Randy Steele at randy@bwrx.studio to discuss options. We handle these situations on a case-by-case basis.

Course materials and intellectual property

NUCLEUS course materials — including syllabi, study guides, quizzes, assignments, and recorded sessions — are the intellectual property of BWRx Studio Inc. Students may use materials for their own personal study. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or publish BWRx Studio course materials without written permission.

NUCLEUS is built on U.S. Department of Energy Fundamentals Handbooks (DOE-HDBK series), which are U.S. government publications in the public domain. Randy Steele's original instruction, curriculum structure, and supplemental materials remain the property of BWRx Studio.

Credentials and transcripts

Students who complete NUCLEUS in good standing receive a Certificate of Completion and an official BWRx Studio transcript documenting Carnegie Unit credit in Nuclear Engineering Technology. BWRx Studio is the issuing institution for these credentials. We make no guarantee that any particular school, college, employer, or military branch will accept or recognize these credentials — that determination rests with the receiving institution.

Student conduct

Students are expected to complete assignments honestly and participate in live sessions respectfully. Plagiarism, academic dishonesty, or disruptive conduct may result in removal from the course without refund at the sole discretion of the instructor.

Technology requirements

NUCLEUS is delivered through Google Classroom and Google Meet. Students are responsible for having a device and internet connection sufficient to participate. BWRx Studio is not responsible for technical issues on the student's end that prevent participation.

Limitation of liability

BWRx Studio provides NUCLEUS as an educational program. We are not liable for any decisions made by students, parents, employers, schools, or military recruiters based on NUCLEUS credentials or course content. Our total liability to any student for any claim arising from enrollment shall not exceed the enrollment fee paid.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes shall be resolved in Hamilton County, Tennessee.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our programs evolve. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued enrollment after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
