The Half-Life Crisis is a weekly comic strip about nuclear science, plant life, and the people who run America's reactors. It's written from 45 years of experience inside the industry — 35 of them as a Licensed Senior Reactor Operator at TVA's Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.

If you know enough to work in a nuclear plant, you'll recognize the moment. If you don't, you'll get curious. That's the point.

The strip is produced by Randy Steele, Founder of BWRx Studio — a Chattanooga, Tennessee nonprofit building the nuclear workforce pipeline starting at the high school level.
